At the Action on Obesity Summit, 2006, reception, a "Kids and Chefs Cooking Exhibition" was held. Rochester area schoolchildren wrote an essay on why healthy eating was important to them. The essays were reviewed by Mayo Clinic dietitians, and from those essays, students were selected to spend a day with Sodexho chefs, learning how to cook healthy foods. At the reception, their healthy food creations were served, and each student was recognized at an award ceremony.
